Application for child care fee assistance will be accepted by phone. There is a waitlist for Child Care Fee Assistance.
York Region families who meet the following criteria:
- families with children aged birth to 12-years-old
- parents who are employed or enrolled in an education or training program
- families with an assessed financial need
- families with an assessed financial need and a social need where health, safety or well-being is at risk
Eligibility for Child Care Fee Assistance is determined using the same standard for all applicants.
Translation and interpretation services are available. Initial referrals must be made in English.
